Forster Bushing Bump Neck Sizing Die Kit

  • Each die includes three pre selected bushings
  • Resize case necks to exact specifications
  • Greater cartridge-to-cartridge consistency enhances accuracy
A superior locking-ring design features an easy-to-use cross bolt that clamps the ring around the entire die. This results in more precise mating of the locking ring threads to the die threads for uncompromising alignment. Sizing dies are hand-polished before and after heat treating. All dies include a oversized die storage box. For reloaders that have been looking for that extra edge needed to tighten their groups. Developed with input from competition shooters and expert reloaders, each of these dies comes with three bushings that resize the case’s neck, shoulder and headspace in a single step. The bushings help you find the optimal case neck size to control the amount of tension during bullet seating and better align the neck with the entire case’s centerline. Partially or totally resize your case necks to your own exacting specifications. This results in greater cartridge-to-cartridge consistency and enhances accuracy. Compatible with any standard 7/8" x 14-thread reloading press.

A great value for the money and necessary for concentric rounds. The fact that it comes with 3 commonly used bushings is a huge convenience. This saves you a lot of time and trouble measuring and then ordering bushings that may or may not work. I highly recommend buying the Forster Bench Rest Seater die to accompany this one. It's an economical combo that will help you get the most out of your rifle.
Also, I totally agree with the first review when the gentleman stated to back off the bushing depth when sizing. In fact, you can back it off even more than a half turn and observe the line in the neck that the bushing leaves as it sizes. Then, work your way back in to control how much of the neck you want to resize.

The die work well once I figured out how to adjust it. When I adjusted it according to the instructions they caused a constriction in the neck next to the shoulder of .003 of an inch. not good. but by backing the die off a half turn it worked well.
