Nosler® Partition® 7mm .284" Diameter Bullets – Per 50

Nosler Partition bullets deliver accuracy, controlled expansion and weight retention. This bullet is ideal for use on any game and in any situation. The fully tapered jacket ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet’s axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward. A special lead alloy dual core construction provides superior mushrooming characteristics at virtually all impact velocities, and Nosler’s integral partition supports the expanded mushroom and still retains the rear lead alloy core. A special crimp locks in the rear core section to provide strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums. The enclosed rear core retains more than half the original bullet weight for deep penetration. Per 50. Made in USA.

Nosler Partition Bullets
Date:
If you do your part, they will never let you down. Partitons aren't too fancy to shoot prarie dogs and they aren't too casual to hunt Lord Derby Eland. They are the working-man's bullet and the thinking-man's choice. Not too spendy or trendy but mighty effective.

Did it's job
Date:
The lead at the tip is very soft and easily got marred. I couldn't group this weight with my gun with 3 different powders and eventually gave up and pulled the remainder of the loaded bullets. Most of these got dinged and bent as they came out and I probably won't purchase this type in the future. I like the plastic tips better. I don't blame the bullet for the bad grouping. I used a 160 accubond that grouped very well. I think most guns prefer a certain weight and I found out that mine doesn't do as well with 175.

They did the JOB!
Date:
Purchased a box of 50 Nosler 7mm Partition bullets and spent a few hours with my sons loading these bullets. From reloading table to the range, the sight in was short and sweet. I hit an inch high of the bulls eye at 100 yards. When deer season arrived I didn't harvest a buck but did harvest a fine doe with one shot at 140 yards. The Nosler did its job with accuracy and penetration. I highly recommend this product.

This bullet gets er' done!
Date:
My girlfriend drew her first tag this year (Mule Deer) and because she is smaller that the average gal we decided to buy her a youth model browning x-bolt 7mm-08 rather than having her haul around my heavy model 70 7mm Rem Mag. I was able to build her a very accurate load (0.75 MOA) with the 140 grn Nolser Partitions moving at 2,650 fps. We took her new set up out on her hunt and on the second day of the hunt she had a huge 5X6 buck in her cross hairs at 200 yards. The buck fell stone dead where he stood even though she spined him.
One week later I took my sister out for her first deer tag with the same rifle and bullets that I crafted. She ended up taking a 306 yard shot at a nice 4X3 and put the bullet right through the kitchen (solid heart shot). The buck did the classic backward mule kick after the bullet went through him, stumbled about 10 yards, and piled up dead.
Verrrry nice! Great Success!
I owe a lot of credit to Nolser for developing such a great bullet, and even more credit to the girls for their extensive shooting practice leading up to their hunts.
