Big-time power in a streamlined reel for maximum control during stand-up fights. The precision-machined, one-piece 6061-T6 aluminum frame and palm plate deliver high-strength durability, easy handling and premium corrosion resistance. Heat-dissipating, ultrastrong carbon fiber drag slams the door on hard-charging runs when fighting big tuna and sails. Adjustable lever drag system lets you crank up the pressure from 18 lbs. up to 41 lbs. (MA20, MA30) for maximum stopping power. The extended gear box and supersonic 6.1:1 gear ratio picks up 51" of line with a single turn. Machined top bar and adjustable clicker on MA20T and MA30T for live bait and kite fishing.

This reel was introduced to me by my Tarpon Guide in Marathon, Florida. He told me that he has "Used Them All!" and this is the "ONLY" one that has not broken under the abuse that clients give reels! I found the reel to be very well made and with a smooth drag that can stop a tank! I was so impressed that when I got home I ordered one. You cannot believe how fast you can take up line with the high speed gear ratio. There will be another in my boat before the spring Tarpon season!
