Adapted from the extremely popular Sealine Linecounter. Daiwa's AccuDepth Plus Linecounter lets you know right where your lure is for precision presentations. Machine-cut brass gears promote solid cranking, and oil-retaining bushings keep the line flowing smoothly. Power mesh drive for maximum power efficiency. Six-disc drag washer. It has a one-piece composite frame and spool click. Machined-aluminum spool. The ADP17LC and ADP27LCW come outfitted with a double-paddle handle for fast grabs and comfortable reeling. Measures in feet.

Silver Salmon Derby

I fished the silver salmon derby last year in Valdez Ak. with this reel and was totally satisfied. I put 50 lb test breaded line and adjusted the drag accordingly. It performed beautifully even when I hooked a 17 lb silver and the fish decided to take three runs before I was able to net it. I fished ten days in a row with this reel all day and would just wash the salt water off the reel at night and spray some wd-40 on it and it was ready for the next day. This reel is worth the money you pay for it.

Aiwa Accudepth Plus Linecounter ADP27LCW

I have 3 of these reels for downrigging and have used them several times so far with no major problems and only one issue. The first morning it was about 25 degrees outside when I started fishing. Later when it warmed up above freezing, one of the line counters had condensation inside that made it impossible to read the display for the rest of the day. Since then it cleared up and no additional problems. Nice product.

I usually buy Cabela brand reels, this time I tried the Daiwa. I am very disappointed. It hard to reel, the quality is not as expected. I will be taking it off my rod and placing on the shelf.
