Pros: Very bright at night. Good value for the money. Mounts securely to 556 rails. Easy to operate. Long battery life. Solid design. Offset mount imporoves ease of operation, especially when used with a foregrip bipod.
Cons: Will not work below 60 degees Farenheit. Average brightness during day.
Would recommend to a friend.

I purchased this product because the description claimed it could get out to 70 yards in the day light. I took it out to the range today and I was lucky if I could get it up to 10 FEET! (This was a cloudy and over-cast day) I can't believe that Cabelas would sell a product of such poor quality. Avoid this laser like the plague. If you ignore this warning, you will get it home, mount it, take it to the range, and then you will regret your purchase and tell yourself that you should not have ignored this warning. Oh and at night, at 50 yards, the laser looks like it is the size of my fist. Absolutely terrible.

I purchased one of these for my AR-15. I bought the green version and it has been working as expected. It was a little rough to sight in but that is the case with most lasers and for the price so who could complain. I am happy with this product as it worked well for what I needed it for. At Night you can see this thing for miles!

this sight worked for 2 minutes at night. it put out a bright green light that went forever.the next morning i ran out side to try it in the day light and it didnt work! i took it into a dark room and it was putting out a faint red light.i changed the battery..same thing. i changed the switch..same thing.Yes i had the battery in right!! i returned it fo my refund.
