Stay in control of the situation with this tactical light/laser aiming system for your handgun. The high-output LED generates 130 lumens of blinding white light and has a strobe function optimized for disorientation. Use the high-intensity red laser alone or in combination with the light for pinpoint accuracy, day or night. Ergonomic design mounts to M1913 and similar-type rails. Intuitive push-button operation allows for a combination of light and laser function. Magnetic switching ensures optimum reliability in the most demanding conditions. Made of advanced polymer with an anodized-aluminum bezel for lighter weight and compact size. Operate the quick-release latching system with one hand. On-board tool for adjusting laser windage and elevation. Digital integrated circuits optimize battery life. Up to 80 minutes peak battery life on one CR-123A lithium battery (included).

This fits perfectly under my Sig 1911 Nitron. I didn't have the ghosted laser issue--it's a single bright dot, even in daylight. The steady on and strobe effect for the white light work with the laser on or off. There is one button for the laser and two buttons at the back of the light on either side of the trigger guard for the white light. You can press either one slightly to turn on the light momentarily or fully press and release to turn on until you turn it off. Mine is sighted in at the wall down the hall from the bedroom. I've put just over 100 rounds through the Sig and the light is still firmly attached.

Best "for the money"

Ok, I hate that saying "for the money". It implies there is something wrong but at this price, its ok. I have to tell you, if it weren't for another reviewers comments about the "double laser", or "ghosting" of the sight, I wouldn't have even noticed it, but it is there. Other than that this laser is awesome! I have never shot this well. After sighting it in (which was a blast to do in it's self! (& easy!)), I shot a 10 shot group @ 25 yards (ok, from a rest, leaning up against the range wall) with 8 in the ten ring & 2 in the nine ring. I still can't believe I did it. This sight is awesome. It totally compensates for my far sightedness. The light is BRIGHT and clear as well. It's so easy to use & switch between finctions. My son loves it too. Also (back to the for the money part) the other reviewers comment about the wrench not stying put is true as well. Big deal. Leave it in your bag until you need to make adjustments (which I have not had to do). While I am very satisisfied with this sight I must tell you no matter which one you buy, get one. They are great!

I purchased this product and I'm very impressed with the functions. It is very easy to install and sight in. The allen wrench stays in place while shooting. I would recommend this to anyone.

CHEAP PLASTIC

I recently purchased this product to add to my new SIG P229 Equinox 40 cal. I was impressed initially with the function, but became very disappointed after I found that the plastic around the securing slide had fractured severely. Noticed this after only 36 rounds through the new pistol. I am not sure if this is a problem with all these Sig tactical lights or whether or not I just happened to receive a cheap one. Irregardless, my opinion is that they are cheaply made and will be making a trip back for a refund after the holidays.
