The mount fit nicely on my Glock 34. It did come loose after 50 rounds so I tightened it up a little more. It has stayed solid now after several hundred rounds. I only gave it 4 stars because I think it is a little expensive. It was simple to put on.
I received my FastFre mount for my XD .45 Tactical and immediately set about mounting it. Word of caution, XD sights are very difficult to remove. If you have access to a sight pusher, use it! A brass drift and hammer works but will take some serious blows to get it done. The mount itself is easy to install. I used purple Loctite for the small screws. You could use blue but it may make removing the screws later more difficult. I then mounted the FastFire to the mount and used a lazer bore sight to sight in at 40'. Now it's off to the range to finish sighting in and have some fun.
I bought a Burris gold dot sight and mount for my Bretta 92. and am happy I did! I put the sight on myself without too much fuss. A few days ago I took the gun out and sighted it in from a bench rest. I sighted it in to hit 3 inches high at 25 yards. At 40 yard I was still landing them in on a nine inch paper plate! I'm sure for a lot of you that sounds like nothing, but, I haven't been able to shoot like that since the day I started having to wear bifocals!
I was shooting 115 gr. Mag Tec rounds. I mention this because my 92 tends to not cycle well on cheap ammo. These rounds work very well in my pistol.
I tried using the 92 mount on my Beretta, but it didn't work properly. It was too loose and couldn't hold the sight. I used the other one provided and it held perfectly. It doesn't feel like it's floating anymore. I wish the reddot was more round-ish like my Eotech, but it will do. All that matters is I can see the dot.
