not reliable
Date:
I keep trying to find a great green laser, as they are brighter than the red (I have about 10 lasers). The beamshots I have bought over the years are in the top drawer--they don't hold point of aim--parts are cheaply made and break. Maybe if they were on .22 not .223 and 12 ga tactical they would last, but this is the third Beamshot in the drawer. I have finally given up.

Poor craftsmanship
Date:
Too good to be true, I should hold by that. All was well, until I put the battery in. The switch would not screw down on it. It is almost like the battery tube was cut too short. Switch screws in fine until you put a battery in. Just looks like poor craftsmanship. In an attempt to tighten or at least get a thread started on the switch, the "safety lanyard" snapped like a twig. I was going to loosen the screw but after reading reviews I found that would not be wise. Should have known better. I contacted Beamshot to see if they have any suggestions. I will be returning this product...

Very disappointed
Date:
Despite what it says on the beamshot website, this product is not sturdy at all, and the quality is questionable. The rail mount that comes with it cannot hold it steady (there's only one clamping screw and the laser is wobbly when mounted). The tube diameter is not standard so I could not use 1" rings instead. In addition, the cable that supposedly secures the battery lid came loose after a few days (the crimp failed, as someone else alredy complained). Overall I found the product unusable and returned it for a refund.
