It seems as though the gps antenna unit is positioned to close to the back of the graph and therefore the satelite signal gets blocked way to often while moving

tried this plate with my humminbird 997 at the console. i haven't had any problems getting a signal for the gps. wished i had used this on my other boats.

This is a great idea and great product.
I contacted Lowrance about this product and was told that if the GPS antenna was powered the do not use this product as it will cause problems with both units.
If the GPS antenna is not powered then feel free to use this product.
Your powered GPS antenna must be a minimum of 2 feet from the unit to reduce possible problems in the units.
Lowrance will not give warrenty if you use this product with a powered GPS antenna.
