So far I've used this product on my boat in some rough water in South Louisiana as it has stayed on the winscreen. I would recommend it for boar or car use.

Suction mount worked perfectly with windshield and held my rino 530 good and solid on Moab trails and cross country. Only problem was the radio holder would not allow the charger clip to attach if radio was snapped into the holder. Still an excellent mount. Easy to attach cup to glass.

I have used Ram mounts on my kayak for years. Bought a suction cup mount for my GPS. Stuck it on lower left corner of truck windshield. It can be pushed down when not in use or pulled up next to my left hand to navigate. The GPS can be removed from the cradle to prevent theft or to pocket when hunting. The GPS, cradle, and short extention can be shifted to a ball on my kayak. Flexable and tough.

I have used several Ram products over the years and have always been satisfied. I use this mount on a Garmin Etrex HCX. It is fully adjustable so you can get it where you want it. Once it is mounted to the windshield it stays there until you're ready to remove it.
