Fit & details
Date:
Fit - I am 6' even, 200 lbs and wear a 42 long sport coat, I ordered the large/tall which fit well.
Details - The outer nylon is a bit stiff, but feels rugged. The four pockets and zipper flap secure with velcro, the neck opening comes up quite high when fully zipped.
The left cuff and right shoulder has shadow embroidered lettering "dry-plus & Cabela's" which is not very noticeable. Tourney Trail on the pocket flap can be seen in the ad photo.
The lining is black nylon and has four interior pockets, three secure with velcro, one has a zipper. The backside is black across the bottom matching the arms/shoulders. There are two adjustable drawstraps along the bottom. The length is about 1" short of my finger tips, with arms at my side.
The hood has three adjustable drawstraps.

Great within Limits
Date:
Extremely well made parka with excellent material. Everything is heavy duty and well designed. Some bit of stiffness of fabric from Dry Plus, but not bad. Material is quiet for this type of parka. Large for size. Perfect for wet regions or in snow. Hood is just OK. Is very adjustable, but really needs a heavier liner. Extra body length is nice for us tall in the torso fellows.
Parka is very flexible and easy to move in. Would not hesitate wearing fishing or hunting. Elastic cuffs inside sleeves took a little getting used to, but now I don't even think about them.
Wearer should keep in mind this is a LAYERING parka. By itself, it is not that warm, but with a long sleeve shirt, sweater, or vest is absolutely the best; even for extreme cold areas with wind.
I've been able to actually dress lighter when layering with this than with other parka shells or light coats. With light layering, has kept me warmer and more maneuverable than when wearing a heavy coat.
Big pockets with strong, full length velcro; takes some getting used to as they really seal well, but easy to master just opening up the rear to slide stuff in.
Only reason four stars and not five is that I think it would do better if if had a light wool/nylon blend lining in the body and hood.
Otherwise, is superb; especially for the money.
