When you wear this parka, one thing you won’t have to worry about is the weather. It has heavy-duty front zippers with double overlapping storm flaps. The waterproof, breathable Dry-Plus nylon shell is reinforced with 500-denier nylon. Durable, quick-drying polyester taffeta lining makes it easy to slip on and off. Full-motion raglan shoulders for freedom of movement. The high collar and adjustable-volume bonded hood wards off chilling wind and moisture. Oversized chest and lower cargo pockets for gloves, hats and gear. Elastic drawcord, cord lock at hem, reinforced fabric in the yoke and seats with articulated sleeves. Interior mesh and security pockets. Imported.

Wetter inside than out

Worn snow blowing my driveway and got wetter inside the garment than outside. Did not breath. Very difficult to open outside velcro pockets with gloves on. Should have a 2-way zipper on front to allow zip up/ open the jacket from the bottom to sit or squat down. Fortunately bought on sale. Would really be unhappy if I had paid full price.

Great Parka

This parka is great. The materials are first rate and the construction is awesome. I combined this parka and a Polartec Classic 300 fleece jacket to create a jacket "system" for my northern Vermont climate. So far it works great in all conditions. Wet, extreme cold, wind protection is very impressive. I was overdressed on a evening hike the other night with my scouts and elected to stay layered up to test the moisture ventilation. The "system" vented moisture so well I never got chilled on breaks. (The first part of the hike was far more vertical than I thought we might encounter so it was a real uphill hump for a bit). I will layer over a wool river driver's shirt and a sweater for deep winter nights but from what I've seen so far, I am very impressed. Great job Cabela's.

1) Quality- Features- Price you will not find better whatever the brand name is. I have already check that online many times.
2) Fabic 500D very tough & durable
3) Color match for fishing & hunting and everyday safe money 3 in 1
4) Zipper is huge and easy to use even with gloves
5) Zipper 's flap wide/deep and very well made
6) The hood can be roled and hide below the collar
7) The hood allows cap, bonny or bonnet
8) 4 front pockets enough roomy
9) Neoprene cuffs, very well made. water stay outside all the time if you cast or shoot
10) DRY + menbrane makes the job done perfectly: Waterproof-Windproof-Breathable as well as all my goretex.
TIP: usually i wear Xl for (5.11-220lbs) but it was to short but 2XL fit perfectly with fleece and have enough room for air ventilation.
You go right with this parka and your money 100%
