Very well made...
Date:
First thing I noticed are the well taped seams and sealed zippers. A must for true water proof gear. Nice pockets everywhere give you space for stuff like your hunting license, extra ammo, etc...
I am 6'4", 205lbs, and the XL fits me quite nice with room to spare to add mid layers underneath. I'd say the jacket is a tad short for me, i'd like another 2-3" since a backpack with gear in it will sorta bunch up the jacket which will ride a bit high in the back Not a big issue, just a nit.
Took it out in rain and it seemed Goretex did do it's thing, but I did not try very hard to verify water proofness. It's noisy I can tell you that much. Also the sleeves terminate in a somewhat cozy and tight wristhole... which is nice to keep water out, but if you sport a big watch it may kinda get hung up when you put or take off the jacket.
It's a keeper for me though... pretty happy with the purchase.

REAL RAIN GEAR
Date:
I have a set of this raingear, yes they are pricey but you will stay dry. I live in Western Washington on the Coast called the Olympic Rain forest, where our average rainfall is 150"to 180" annualy. I have a pair of cabelas MT50 rain gear and will not wear them due to failure to keep you dry in this climate. This is the real testing climate for rain gear. If anyone is going to hunt a wet climate and stay out all day in a down pour this is the rain gear to purchase, also the coat and pants have many great features, suspender buttons, roomy pockets with water proff zippers.

Almost Perfect!
Date:
I have tried every jacket on the market. I have been returning rain jackets as fast I have them shipped to me. The Sitka gear Stormfront is good but to loud! The Paclite gear is good but not durable enough for hardcore use plus if your caught in a horrid rain day it will leak eventually (I'm talking LOTS of rain). This new coat has all the technical features that I want and while it is not nearly as quite as Paclite (Pick your brand "Cabelas Space Rain" or "Sitka DownPour" or any of those types) it is just quite enough... I think. and that's why it is almost perfect. I put this coat in the freezer for a while and it came out about the same for noise. Cold conditions were the BIG problem with my Sitka StromFront. So, I would try this jacket out for yourself - some of you will scream that its to loud and others, like me, will see that its the best the market has to offer until there is an advance in the core technology.
