This works great. Sound quality is a little faint, and I have to turn the volume way up, but for the price it's not bad. Saved me from having to spend the money to buy a whole new stereo that was MP3 capatible.

The unit works fairly well. A bit of warning if you live in a major metro area as it does not have the power to overcome strong signals from nearby radio channels. On long trips betweens cities you can usually find a quiet channel and be fine. The audio quality isn't the same as playing a CD however for the money you pay you get a good deal. Playing music files from a USB drive is a big plus.

This little FM Transmitter is quite powerful and transmits my music very clearly! It is relatively compact and very easy to use. I have not used the remote control, as I control my music through my iPod, but it does appear to have all the buttons/functions necessary to do everything you may need. Good stuff!

Works great, but first one was defective.

I purchased one of these for my bro for Christmas. The first one was defective and it had to be returned. Cabelas did a very easy and no questions asked product exchange.
The replacement arrived the other day and it works perfectly, My brother is very happy w/ it and uses it every day on his commute to work. The sound comes through quite clear.
I would rate 5 stars, but I simply can't overlook the fact that the first one was defective. The story has a happy ending, but having to exchange/return something is always an inconvenience especially when it is a gift. For this reason I have to give it 4 stars because when you buy something new, it should work.
