The sound quality of the earpiece is good and the boom mic works well. The only reason that I did not rate the earpiece as excellent is that, when wearing glasses, the earpiece did not feel like it was fully seated and at times did work it's way from my ear.

Good Product, does not work for my intended use

I bought these to use with Motorola GMRS/FRS radios that have Vox for when we snowmobile. Even with the Vox sensitivity turned down, we still had too much ambient noise. The radio would lock on transmit. We will see how they work for 4-wheeling this summer.
I will try to get a throat mic to work with the radios. See how that goes.
If not, the grandkids will have 4 nice walkie-talkies to play with.

very good mic

This is a very good mic this will work with most radios not just motorola radios i am using it with my cobra radios, just remember to chenge the "VOX" setting to ON this fits very comfortable on your ears, this will work on your left and right ear the only bad thing i have to say is to talk you have to push the button on the actual radio there isnt anything on the wire. otherwise buy these, i will be using them for white tail deer hunting.
