Midland Bubba GXT 1091WXVP4 Radio Pack
Date:
I took these radios hunting this year up in the mountains of Colorado. It was my first time to use them. They worked great. We were over 4 miles up from the trail head reception was great even during a snow storm. I used them in a number of situations to keep in contact with my hunting companions. The only complaint I have with these is the button's are too easily pushed changing the mode the unit is in and the talk button when just in your pocket.

NOT A GOOD PRODUCT
Date:
I took two sets of these on a fishing/camping trip. 2 of them would only transmit half the time and one of them fell into the water as we were getting stuff out of the boat it was in two foot of water for less then 5 seconds and it filled up with water and all the ports were closed so it should have been sealed. If this unit gets rained on the speaker stops working. we were on open water and could not get in touch with each other and we were less than 2 miles apart. NOT A GOOD PRODUCT SAVE YOUR MONEY.

no good
Date:
Bought these for a NY Bow Hunt and I hated them from the first min I opened the box. My old motorola talk about were great but after 10 years it was time to let them go. These are to big. I pack light I carry a small flashlight a small knife and this HUGE radio. Ok I could have gotten over this brick on my belt but they do not have a Vibrate mode. In the woods I want as little to no noise as possible, and these radios with all there chirping and beeping made me sound like video game. We were only a hundred or so yards apart and there was some static but to get anything more you would need to be in an open field or on the water. Wait not waterproof so you had better be in a field. Good luck shooting a deer standing in the middle of a field with a video game hooked to your hip. !
