Long Lasting
Date:
I got my first kwikee quiver 15 years ago and have used it without problems every year since. I am finally replacing the origional due to a fall on an elk hunt last year (broke the part that goes into the mounting bracket). In summary, these quivers hold arrows securely, don't have foam that can wear out, can be quickly removed from the bow, and have a mouting system that ensures your quiver won't be dropped on the trail (happend to my buddy with different quiver backpacking in last year). Sure, it does rattle a bit if you don't tighten the thumb screw or don't push your arrows into the hood all the way, but all this can be avoided. Also, there are extra mounting brackets and other handy accessories available from the manufacturer to mount your quiver to your treestand, adjust location of your quiver on your bow) especially for short ATA bows), etc. Pretty hard to beat, especially for the money.

It is what it is... Works, but not great...
Date:
If you're looking for the cheapest quiver out there that will securely hold your arrows, this is your quiver.
Pros:
It holds arrows securely. It's durable. It stays put. It's cheap.
Cons: It's big, even by 6 arrow standards, this thing is huge. It holds the arrows TOO securely, so it's hard to get them in and out. If I don't turn the arrow slightly once it's in the quiver, the rubber gripper binds up and doesn't properly grip the arrow, and it'll spit the arrows out when I take a shot (doesn't just loose grip, it SPRINGS them out of the groove). Taking it off and putting it on the bow isn't as seamless as I'd like. You pretty much HAVE to press the retaining tab back to put the quiver on the bow. It stays put once it's on, but with 6 arrows in place, it's tricky to press the tab, install it, and tighten the retaining screw one handed.
Honestly, I always used to take my quiver off of my bow at my stand. It's difficult enough to remove and replace this quiver one handed that I started leaving it on the bow and practiced shooting with it in place. It mostly made me regret trying to skimp and save money on the quiver. I wish I'd have spent a little more and got a more user friendly quiver.
Ultimately, if you just need a quiver, it works, and it's better quality than other bargain bin quivers out there, but if you're looking for a low profile, easy on/easy off quiver, this isn't it.

Kwikee 6 arrow quiver
Date:
My Dad has one from years ago and the only thing that has changed is the addition of camo and the arrow holder spaces the arrows farther apart so that high-profile vanes do not touch each other. The spring clip on the mount does not make noise when you shoot without the quiver attached. This is a very strong mount/quiver set up. The only problem I have is that GrizzTricks tend to hang up in the hood due to their short profile and extra wide diameter (1 1/4" cut). But if you are using the Slick Trick Magnums (1 1/8" cut), there is no problem. Great quiver if your fixed heads are 1 1/8" cut or less!
Kwikee should look at making the hood a little bigger, then it would work with whatever width head you were shooting.

Very noisy
Date:
I bought this after getting a new bow. The mounting bracket doesn't stay tight for long and then the whole thing rattles. I wouldn't spend my money on this again.
