I need to read more carefully before I buy! The description is pretty clear: It is rear-facing. However, this is not necessarily what you want if you're mostly doing target practice. The theory on the rear-facing quiver is that the arrows "won't get caught" on brush. Well, they can get caught on brush and slipped out the back of your quiver without you knowing if you're not careful. And for backyard target practice, the rear-leaning orientation is just plain weird, albeit something you can get used to. If I was to do it over again, I'd buy something that leans the arrows forward at my RH side. For now, I wear this on the FRONT of my LEFT leg which puts the arrows in a pretty accessible/unobtrusive spot for right-hand shooting (and awkward walking to/from the target).
