Rubber rail grippers dampen vibration
Designed for mechanical or traditional broadheads with shaft sizes from 249ACC to 2413, this versatile five-arrow quiver accommodates all variations of arrows. Soft-Loc rail grippers attach to a machined-aluminum bracket, which is permanently mounted to the
bow. Two guide rails separate the hood, and the arrow gripper presses snugly into the rail grippers anywhere along the length of the rails to give you infinite vertical adjustment of the quiver. An extra arrow gripper friction-mounts to the hood end to support mechanical broadheads. The Soft-Loc is reversible for right- or left-hand use and rotates up to 15°. Rubber mounted rail grippers make great vibration dampeners. Holds five arrows. Camo patterns:
Mossy Oak® Break-Up®,
Realtree Hardwoods HD®,
Realtree Hardwoods Green HD®,
Realtree® APG HD®.
There are more attractive quivers out there, that connect to your bow in more fanciful ways, but the question is....WHY?
The Alpine Soft-Loc quiver is extremely quiet, very stable on your bow, has good weight, and allows you to remove an arrow with one hand (unlike other popular brands I have tried). It also allows you to adjust the length when locking it on very easily. No tools needed, just pick the right height and snap it on.
I scrutinize my equipment heavily. If you see any of my other reviews you will know that. I write a lot, because these reviews have helped me in making numerous purchases. However, here there is not much to say.
There are no cons in my book.
The pros? It does what you want using a simple fail proof design. It is not in the least bit flimsy, therefore itt will last, and is not money you are likely to regret spending. Happy Shopping.
Have had lots of cheap and very high dollar quiver in the 30 plus year of archery hunting. This one is easy off and on and very quite. Quite is the most important while bow hunting with the quiver on . 1 dill
This "was" a great quiver,...until it silently popped-off just as silently as it pops-on. Was elk hunting through thick willows when it apparently snagged a branch and was pulled-off; never found it. Had a close-call earlier in the day but didn't heed the warning. Nothing worse than being far from camp with zero arrows:( So, my advise if hunting in similar terrain: attach quiver to bow with short piece of parachute cord, will save you $100+ in quiver, arrow& broadheads. That addition makes this a 5-star quiver!
