Serves dual purposes as a tactical weapon for self defense and, with its universal digital camo pattern, as a field weapon for varmint hunting. Shorter length of pull (13-1/2") and comfortable, ergonomic buttstock with rubber textured grip areas promote quick, secure shouldering. Military-spec Picatinny accessory rail with adjustable rear LPA-style ghost-ring sight allows easy adjustment for windage and elevation. M-16-style front sight has a red fiber-optic rod for fast target acquisition. The 18-1/2" chrome-lined barrel comes equipped with removable ported cylinder choke tube. Extended and enlarged slide release delivers fast, dependable operation, and the oversized release is easy to find by feel, even in the dark. Ergonomic pistol-grip buttstock and rubber-textured grip. Swivel studs included. 5+1 round capacity (2-3/4") or 4+1 capacity (3").

I am pleased that I shopped around. I narrowed my choice to this shotgun and another company's for there pump action style. It came down to the ported choke and rather unique finish of the Weatherby. I have put 100 rounds of #8 target down range. The rifle sites are accurate to ranges of 20yds. Well defined pattern. Light weight and kicks like a mule.
