Comprop delivers four-blade performance for less than a three-blade aluminum prop! Used as original equipment by many top-quality boat builders. Why? Testing shows durable Comprop propellers accelerate quicker, run faster, corner better and are smoother on most boats than three-blade aluminum props yet cost 30% less! Made in a computer generated mold assuring each blade is exactly alike. This process – and the four-blade design – results in unmatched smoothness and overall performance that ordinary three-blade aluminum props can't match. During soft-bottom/low-speed operation, the composite material resisted dings, folds and blunting common to aluminum props. During a high-speed prop strike, the blades are designed to break, absorbing much of the shock and reducing the likelihood of costly drivetrain repairs. When replacing a prop, use one of similar size and pitch for similar performance. Mounting hardware not included. Made in USA.

after i hit a rock and broke the out drive shaft ($1500 repair) i tried the comprop and was very impressed with performance. i just hit something else and the prop disintegrated leaving the rest of it in working order. i put on the spare prop and we were fishing again. i just bought 2 more as the price is right.

I replaced an aluminum prop with the comp prop on my 17' 130hp Sea Ray. The boat is much more responsive and has a lot more low end and top end speed. It was only supposed to get me thru Labor Day weekend on a low budget it is now my primary prop! I just purchased another for a spare. It is tough! I was pulling the boat on the trailer with the tilt too low and scrapped the ramp at 850 rpms the prop shaved down a little but is still useable and smooth. My old metal props would of been useless after this.!

Great prop for the money!

I bought this prop to replace a stolen Hi-five stainless. I was originally planning to just use this prop as a spare when I can afford to buy another stainless, but I am definitely keeping it on the boat for good. I might just buy another com prop for a spare. The performance seems nearly identical if not better to the Hi-five. We use it on a 21' deck boat with a wakeboard tower. When pulling tube or wakeboard, it holds rpm very well. I also noticed that we hardly used a 1/4 tank of fuel after being out on the lake all day, mostly pulling riders. I suspect that the light weight might improve gas mileage.
