Comprop delivers four-blade performance for less than a three-blade aluminum prop! Used as original equipment by many top-quality boat builders. Why? Testing shows durable Comprop propellers accelerate quicker, run faster, corner better and are smoother on most boats than three-blade aluminum props yet cost 30% less! Made in a computer generated mold assuring each blade is exactly alike. This process – and the four-blade design – results in unmatched smoothness and overall performance that ordinary three-blade aluminum props can't match. During soft-bottom/low-speed operation, the composite material resisted dings, folds and blunting common to aluminum props. During a high-speed prop strike, the blades are designed to break, absorbing much of the shock and reducing the likelihood of costly drivetrain repairs. When replacing a prop, use one of similar size and pitch for similar performance. Mounting hardware not included. Made in USA.

Great prop

I have been using a Comprop M4545 for 4 years and love it. This spring, my son took all four blades off of the prop in the middle of the lake. Not a scratch on the skeg. He must have hit a semi-submerged log or something. If I was using an aluminum prop, I am sure that the lower shaft would have bent, costing lots of dollars to fix. It was well worth the price of a new Comprop to keep the lower end intact. I love this prop!!

nice prop

This is a good backup propeller. The performance is better than the 3 blade I had before. The only drawback is that it gets eaten up easily, which it is designed to do so it doesn't damage the motor.

i will admit, the prop is sturdy and well constructed.
replaces the original very easily.
the prop has excellent trolling speed, botton end speed but, it reduced my top end speed from 47mph to 37 mph.
the prop will be an excellent spare prop due to the fast, change time.

ComProp for '97 Force (Mercury) 120 hp

This prop pulls really well at low end, gets my boat on plane in about 2 boat lengths (about twice as fast as with an aluminum prop). Lost about 5-6 mph on top end. 1/3 the of the cost of an alumimun replacement prop. The water's still a bit cool this June, but should work excellent for boarding and skiing. Maintains speed very well during turns at ski speeds.
Shipping was excellent, ordered on a tuesday, arrived the following tuesday.
