Because we know comfortable wading boots can be as important as proper fly selection, we designed our Backcountry Wading Boots with superior ankle support and shock-absorbing midsoles for increased stability and comfort. They're now available with either high-density felt soles or rubber-cleated outsoles to help you achieve maximum traction on just about any surface you may encounter. Heavy-duty nylon and synthetic uppers keep weight down, and we reinforced the toes and heels with our super-tough Wade Guard™ for added durability. The mesh side panels let water drain from the boot, but keep sediment and rocks out while reducing overall weight. Double and triple stitching reinforces high-stress areas. Neoprene gusseted tongues and collars.
