|Gauge||.22 Long Rifle|
|Manufacture Date||Serial number of 626xx indicates a manufacture date of 1949|
|Metal Condition||Barrel and receiver retain the majority of their original bluing with very light scattered freckling, and a few small patches of minor oxidation. The finish on the blued bolt handle has been worn off from use. As noted elsewhere, the original rear sight was cut off behind the mounting dovetail and used as a filler.|
|Stock Dimensions||LOP: 13-5/8"|
|Sights||Hooded blade on integral ramp front, rear sight has been removed (base remains to fill dovetail in barrel) and receiver sight installed|
|Bore Condition||While not a mirror-finish, the bore reflects light well and the rifling remains prominent.|
|Gun Library||East Hartford, CT|
|Wood Condition||The stock displays a fair amount of surface scratches and contact marks from use, and appears to have been refinished at some point in the past. The wood is structurally sound, but the right side of the buttstock has two small, but fairly deep gouges, and there is a small chip where the buttplate meets the heel of the stock.|
|Butt||Serrated, blued steel buttplate|
|Stock||Cut-checkered, select walnut sporter-type stock|
Description: This Model 75 Sporter does not have a grooved receiver to accommodate tip-off scope mounts and is not drilled and tapped for standard mounts.
