Description: To salute the United States 200th birthday in 1976, Winchester issued the Bicentennial '76 commemorative Model 94 Carbine. The U.S. Bicentennial features satin-finished American walnut, extended forearm and straight grip stock, with deep cut checkering. The curved wrap-around butt plate is blued. The inscription "Bicentennial 1776-1976" is engraved in script on the right side of the barrel. The magazine plug and barrel bands are blued. Sights are blade front and semi-buckhorn rear. The receiver is of antique silver finish. The left side is roll engraved with an eagle, wings outspread. The saddle ring is missing. The ring sided is engraved with a "76" encircled with 13 stars. The upper tang is inscribed with "Model 1894 Winchester". A nickel-silver Bicentennial medallion is embedded in the rights sided of the butt stock and depicts the Winchester Horse 'n' Rider with the inscription "Winchester Salutes The United States Bicentennial 1776-1976" The serial number has the prefix "USA" with only 19,999 produced at New Haven. This rifle also comes with its own gun rack which sports a pair of simulated deer antlers and a gold plated identification plate.
