Lightweight, rugged and simple to deploy, Vortex's Summit SS-P (Super Short) Tripod is ideal for treks when space and weight are your first concerns. This field-packing tripod features three 5-section anodized-aluminum legs that adjust from a minimum height of 6.3" to a maximum height of 54.5" when in use, yet pack away to a minimum 14" length for simple, convenient transport. Twist leg locks provide variable height adjustment and create minimal bulk. Adjustable-leg-angle option allows you to optimize spotting scope positioning. Central balance hook holds additional weight to enhance stability in windy conditions. Pan head with quick-release plate and locking mechanism. Rubber feet for solid footing on a variety of surfaces.
