With its roomy interior height and easy-pitch, three-pole design, The North Face Kaiju Four-Person Tent meets the needs of campers who want convenience and all the technical advantages to be found in a North Face design. Highlights of the Kaiju include six pockets, foot wiper to keep interior clean, convertible sunshade front vestibule and interior hanger loops. Ball caps join the canopy and fly in one easy click. H-Clip concentrates fabric tension where the poles cross, the strongest points in the tent's architecture. These technologies create larger interior volumes while maintaining a campsite-friendly footprint size. Reverse-combi poles use larger-diameter poles at the top of the tent and smaller-diameter poles on the sides. The change in flexibility alters the arc of the pole and maximizes livable space for greater comfort and headroom. Pole clips make tent pitching disassembly simple and fast while saving weight. Lightweight hubs enable fast pitching. Dryweld™ prevents leaks and improves flysheet durability. All flysheets are hot-sealed at the seams with polyurethane tape to keep water out. High and low venting maximizes airflow. Fly-only shelter offers ideal protection in milder, bug-free weather while greatly reducing weight. Color-coded poles match the pole clip or sleeve webbing to help quickly orient parts of the tent during assembly. Construction fabrics include 68-denier polyester full-length fly with 1,200mm polyurethane coating and 150-denier polyester floor with 1,500mm polyurethane coating. Imported.
