A special semiautomatic hunting shotgun for small-framed shooters
Engineered to produce less felt recoil and consistent, uniform patterns
Three Invector-Plus choke tubes included
Innovative technology combines with quality craftsmanship and superior handling to make Browing’s Silver® shotgun for youth ideal for young and small-framed hunters. Its semiautomatic self-adjusting Active Valve System reduces felt recoil by diverting gases from fired shells to cycle the action and vents any excess out the top of the forend, away from the receiver. This process also allows shooters to get back on target fast for follow-up shots because muzzle jump is reduced. Silver barrels are back-bored to reduce friction between the shot cup and bore, resulting in increased pellet velocity and decreased pellet deformation to produce consistent and uniform patterns. Some other shotgun brands have barrels that will show signs of pitting after shooting a lot of steel shot, but not the Silver. Its barrel blank is made of rolled, tempered-steel bars that are precision-drilled, reamed and honed to exacting specifications to make the barrel last a lifetime with proper care, regardless of the shot type used. Browning’s proven Invector-Plus™ choke-tube system features a longer choke taper that, when used with back-bored barrel technology, enhances consistent pattern uniformity. This Silver Hunter Micro Midas model sports a strong, lightweight aluminum-alloy receiver in a semi-humpback design with a silver finish that complements the hardwood stock’s handsome satin finish. The 13" length-of-pull accommodates smaller shooters and a 1/4" stock spacer. 3" chamber accommodates everything from light 1-oz. trap loads to heavy magnum shells. Ivory front bead sight. Three choke tubes included – full, modified and improved cylinder. Available in 12- and 20-gauge models with 26" barrels and 3+1 shell capacity.
