Renowned gunmaker Davide Pedersoli introduces the 1874 Sharps Hunter falling-block rifle, a version that delivers the reliability and accuracy you expect from an affordable rifle with fewer decorative frills. The pistol-grip stock is outfitted with a shotgun-style buttplate. This gun uses a double set trigger for precise accuracy. The blued, octagonal 30" barrel has a 1-in 18" rate of twist. It is chambered for the potent and popular .45-70 cartidge. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation, and the rifle comes pre-drilled to accept an optional Creedmore-style sight (sold separately) should you choose to add one. Caliber: .45-70.
