Quantum® EXO PT Casting Reel

At a mere 5.9 oz., these featherweight reels are the lightest casting reels ever produced by Quantum. But don't be fooled by their stripped-down look and feel. The innovative Exoskeleton construction puts metal where it matters, so they're every bit as rugged as reels weighing much more.  The secret in this design is in the ultrarigid alloy strategically placed in load-bearing areas, making the frame 38% stronger than magnesium and six times stronger than a graphite-composite frame. The aluminum gear drive is also ported to remove excessive weight. The 7.3:1 Burner baitcast gear gobbles up an amazing 31" of line per turn of the handle. EXO cast control offers a wide range of centrifugal brake settings tha can be fine-tuned with the turn of a dial.
