Sheet Bend

The single sheet bend, sometimes called a weaver's knot, has two major uses: tying together two ropes of unequal size and tying a rope to an eye. The knot will draw tight but loosen when the lines are slackened. The single sheet bend is stronger and unties easier than the square knot.
