A direct descendent of the Model 1891, the first repeating rifle chambered for the .22 LR, the Golden 39A is legendary among riflemen. Its solid-top side-ejection receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, an advantage over top-eject lever guns. Micro-Groove® rifling produces accuracy most out-of-the-box .22s can't touch. The 39A also features a black-walnut stock and forend with cut checkering, semi-buckhorn folding rear sight and ramp front sight with Wide-Scan™ hood, hammer-block safety and gold-plated trigger. It also includes a scope adapter base and an ambidextrous, offset hammer spur for scope use. The tube magazine holds 19 long-rifle cartridges and has a patented closure system.
