Requires one CR-123 battery and runs up to 30 hours
Night Optics' nightvision binoculars give you high-performance, modular, handheld stereoscopic vision in a weather-resistant package. Dual image-intensifier tubes provide crisp, clear images in the darkest conditions, and an integrated infrared illuminator enhances the ability to operate them in confined spaces. Each image tube operates independently, providing excellent redundancy, and the unique patented design eliminates any need for adjustment between the eyes while providing a reduced size and weight. The powerful 3.6X magnification works with the 80mm lens to provide you with a 40° field of view. Automatic brightness and gain control. Optimal operating temperature range is -4°F to 113°F. Each model comes with a CR-123 battery, carry case and operating manual. Dimensions: 7"L x 5"W x 2.5"H. Weight: 2.2 lbs.
D-221 Binoculars – Features Generation 2+ nightvision technology with improved image-intensifier tubes that use microchannel plates (MCP) with S-25 photocathodes (a negatively charged electrode in a light-detection device) that produce much brighter imagery, resolution and reliability; this means better illumination in low ambient-light environments, such as moonless nights. They're also equipped with better optics for improved resolution and a better signal-to-noise ratio. Detection range is 902 feet and recognition range is 656 feet.
D-321 Binoculars – Features powerful Generation 3 nightvision technology that has the same MCPs as the Generation 2+ model, but has photocathodes made with gallium arsenide, which further improve image resolution. Additionally, the MCPs on this model are coated with ion-barrier films for increased tube life, and the light amplification is over twice that of Generation 2+. Detection range is 1,230 feet and recognition range is 984 feet.
