Originally created for transplanted Portuguese fisherman by a small mill before the Civil War, Mascioclothe™ circa 1861 fabric developed a legendary reputation for incredible strength, softness and an exceptional broken-in feel. Caden McCoy has revived the original Jeans of the West for a new generation using this renowned fabric. The 8.5-oz twill is 200% finer and a higher grade yarn than 10.4-oz cotton duck. The 2x2 double-ply construction uses a vertical yarn that is two times larger than standard yarns to provide the twill look and feel. The fabric is brushed then pre-washed making it extremely durable when compared to other twills, yet super soft. Triple-needle stitching throughout and bartacks in all stress areas adds to the unbeatable strength. Leather trim covers high-abrasion edges of pockets. Large front "saddle" pockets for easy entry while sitting or standing and deep back pockets. Hidden right-hand pocket for "can’t lose" items. Seven belt loops and double-wide back center belt loop to accommodate chaps strap (from original 1861 pant design). Roomy diamond crotch gusset. Grosgrain waistband. Riveted personalized metal buttons. Full-cut legs with reinforced cuffs. 11" rise. Imported. Inseams: 30", 32". Even waist sizes: 30-42. Inseam: 34". Even waist sizes: 32-42. Colors: Rustwood, Sand.
