A Triple-Cam drag system evens out heavy loads to put the muscle to hard-fighting fish. The Platinum 33 also features instant anti-reverse and dual ceramic pickup pins.

The advanced polymer blanks are virtually indestructible, taking the kinds of rod-bending abuse that would turn lesser-made rods into graphite matchsticks. But don’t think strength overrides sensitivity – the Whuppin’ Sticks have a blank-through-handle construction that helps detect light bites. Sleek graphite reel seats lock the reel in place.
