Shimano® Curado® G/Cabela's XML Casting Combo

Enjoy your fishing adventure and save money doing it by pairing a XML rod with the precision casting controls of the Curado G baitcasting reel.

The Curado’s High-Efficiency Gearing (HEG™) delivers amazing cranking power and torque. With HEG, the reel is equipped to slow down hard-charging species. Super-smooth 4+1 bearing system teams with cast-enhancing features to keep you throwing on target and reeling all day. Variable Brake System with reduced-mass hub reduces tangles. Disengaging Levelwind System for even line lay on the spool. Dartainium® Drag puts you in complete control of the fight. QuickFire II clutch bar for easy, one-handed casting. Super Stopper II eliminates backplay. Super Free® bearing-supported pinion gear system. Aluminum frame and spool with lightweight graphite sideplate. Septon PV power grips. Advanced ergonomic design.

Built on XML 64 million-modulus, spiral-core-technology graphite blanks. These rods feature lightweight, super-durable SS316 stainless steel Alps® guides, double-coated with black chrome for maximum corrosion resistance. Precise guide spacing compacts the distance between guides from the middle to the tip of the rod. This increases sensitivity and decreases line drag. Casting models have exposed-blank MagTouch® reel seats. Grips are made of premium cork and have thread-covering down-locking fore grips. Butts are compatible with our Weight-Balancing System, available separately.
