Heavy-duty seal gaskets work with the wide, 11" sealing bar to produce thick, tight, breakproof seals every time. Drawing a 28-1/2" vacuum, air is efficiently removed from each bag to ensure the longest possible preservation of the contents. A lid-mounted vacuum port prevents liquid or debris from being drawn into the pump. A built-in cooling fan keeps the unit functioning when you have a lot of food to seal.
