Description: This H&K is a conundrum. The box is marked as an H&K P7 PSP. However, the pistol is date marked 9/87 almost a year after production of the PSP ended. As well, it has the M8's trigger guard and a magazine release not seen on either. The M8 utilizes a side push-button release. The PSP uses a traditional German latch over the magazine with no spring assist so release the magazine from the magazine well. This pistol uses a spring-loaded push button in the back of the frame and the magazine is spring-loaded to propel the magazine out of the mag well. A few sources mention a late run of P7 PSP pistols, but those started in 1990. Whatever its variation, it's a very clean pistol with its original box and owner's manual.
