Description: Winchester 1873 .38 WCF 1889 production. The functioning receiver has scroll engraving with buffalo and elk game scene on each side. The 24" octagon barrel shows consistent patina with the receiver and steel crescent butt plate. Bore is dull in brightness with faint rifling. The fore end has many mars as does the stock. At the wrist of the stock, a crack in the wood extends towards the butt.
