Description: Springfield 1884 Rod Bayonet Trapdoor .45-70 Govt. This scarce model is all original. It is fully patinaed with very fine rust. Stock markings are light to crisp. The bore is mostly bright with good rifling. The firing pin appears to be broken. The exterior shows very little wear.
