The aluminum receiver is elaborately engraved with a floral scroll motif and several game scenes. The left side depicts a ram standing in a deadfall while the right side features a bull elk on the edge of a clearing checking his back trail. Additional game scenes are engraved on the bottom of the receiver, trigger guard and cartridge trap cover. |

The richly-figured buttstock has a few minor handling marks and a slight dent (approximately 1/4" dia.)on the left side immediately above the sling attachment. The Schnabel forend appears to be free from any handling marks. |
