Description: This Colt has smooth wooden grips and a Parkerized finish on metal. Serial numbers match on barrel, frame, cylinder, and butt/ grip strap. Grips have some nicks and dents but are in very good shape. Some pitting on right side of barrel and top strap, and some finish wear on end of barrel, cylinder swing-out arm and blade. Trigger has functionality issue. Top of barrel is stamped "Patented Aug. 5 1884 * Nov. 6, 1888 * Mar. 5, 95". This Colt was the first hangun to use smokeless powder cartridges.
