Description: This is a Winchester model 70 made in 1960 in .338 win. mag. with a 25" barrel. The matte finish of the receiver and the bluing of the barrel show little wear yet there are a few marks on the right side of the barrel under the front sight. The wood stock has some wear and scratches on both sides by the receiver with nice checkering on the pistol grip and forearm, however overrall the finish is good. The action is smooth and has good lock up. There is a Leupold one piece base with a Leupold M7 fixed power scope mounted over the original open sights. The serial number of the bolt and receiver match and is 49XXXX.
