Description: This is a French Darne model P-17 side by side in 12 gauge with25 5/8" barrels. The silver colored receiver has nice floral engraving with thatched boarders and shows no wear. The blued barrels have a dark silver bead on the front and has a swivel mounted about 10" from the muzzle and show no wear. They have been triple tested and stamped as such by the factory and the chokes are IC and IM with 2 3/4" chambers. The English style stock is a very striking light honey colored wood with a darker grain through out and has fine checkering on the wrist and a swivel mounted. There is a red Noshoc butt pad mounted. The splinger forearm is a match to the butt stock in color with fine checkering and a horn end piece. This firearm is unusual in that the action is a straight pull back and the "P" series is not that common. It comes with the original factory paperwork.
