Description: Anton Sodia, Ferlach Cape Rifle 16x9.3x72R This fine old gun has Exposed Hammer Back Action Sidelocks. The rifle barrel has a single set trigger. the shotgun barrel is full choke. This gun is an underlever action with light engraving and carved fences. The shotgun barrel is marked "Nicht fur Kugel" which means no slugs. 9.3x72R is roughly equivalent to .38-55 Winchester, although it is .366 in diameter and uses a 286 Gr. Lead slug. (Sellier & Bellot from Midway uses a 193Gr. slug.). The 16 gauge barrel has a 2 9/16" chamber, and Cabela's carries 2 1/2" shells that will work just fine. This gun shows a fair amount of wear, but not abuse.
