Description: Harrington & Richardson M-4 Survival Rifle .22 Hornet. This Pilot's survival rifle originally came packed in the survival kit attached to the ejection seat. It was designed for food hunting, not combat. The hollow point bullets came in specially marked boxes stating they were to be used for "hunting only". The pilot was susposed to use his handgun, ( usually an S&W .38 Special revolver), for defense. The bore is bright with good rifling. The exterior is mostly patinaed. The barrel has been extended to make it a legal 16".
