Description: This rifle has had some modifications to the magazine, as evidenced by the dovetail at the muzzle end of the barrel, leading one to believe, that this was a full length magazine rifle once upon a time. The lever appears to be slightly bent and no longer lies flat against the bottom tang. The half cock notch of the hammer may have been tampered with or broken, as the hammer will fall from half cock if the trigger is pulled. The take-down mechanisim functions as designed.
