Description: Thirty six inch Damascus Fine Twist Steel barrels. The barrels are signed on the top rib with " J.D. Dougall Gun & Rifle Manufacturer to H. R. H. the Prince of Wales, 59 St. James's St London ". Color case hardened back action side lock with hammers and a side lever opening. The under side of the frame is engraved with " J.D. Dougall's Patent Lock Fast " mechanism. Stock and forend are of oil finished French Walnut, hand checkered twenty lines to the inch. Excellent Antique condition for its 120 year carreer.
