Description: A part of a very small production run, the Newcomes were an introductory-level sidelock injector. They all featured unusual art-deco engraving on a made-in-the-trades action. Of all of the Newcomes, the 16-bore seems to be the least seen, with a few 20's and 12's appearing in the auctions from time to time. This one has been honed out of proof (.675 versus its .662 proofs). Minimum observed wall thicknesses were .028 (R) and .025 (L). Gun locks up tight and on face and barrels ring well.
