This Purdey was bespoke by a gentleman who knew what he wanted and he, and Purdey's, knew that Mr. Smith was just the man to do it. Perfect bold acanthus scroll covers nearly every surface of this masterpiece, and the one panel that isn't full coverage acanthus hosts two bobwhite taking flight straight out of the bottom panel of this gun. We purchased this gun from the original owner, and it is still as he accepted it, complete down to a full complement of Purdey accessories still wrapped in their original Purdey tissue paper.
